I was searching google to see what other velvet bows were being offered on the web and I found this beauty from YSL which incidentally I had seen in the Harrolds store in the new Westfield Centre Point shopping centre in Sydney, CBD. In all fairness, the new Harrolds store is without peer in Australia. There is an entire Tom Ford bespoke section, a wonderful dinner suit area with that unique midnight blue shawl collar YSL tuxedo I saw last year in Paris. Then of course they have Stefano Ricci ties and Brioni leather jackets at around 15k. I did wonder what kind of a man had 15k to throw at a leather jacket, especially Australians, who generally speaking, if they have that much money they usually do their shopping offshore, afraid to be caught spending that kind of dough in our tall poppy syndrome country where 'big spending' is frowned upon.
