2014 Le Noeud Papillon Portrait Competition: Entrant #2, Ray Frensham, London, England

This is Ray Frensham. Ray is multi-talented and when I get a free moment this year I am going to go back to his 'How To' book on screenwriting and I am going to knock out a screenplay. In the meantime, see what Ray has to say about his portrait submission below:

About this portrait....

Bow Tie: From my own collection of Art Deco originals from the 1930s
Suit: Bespoke
Shirt: tunic / collarless shirt, one of a range that I designed myself and have made up in Europe.

Stiff collar: standard day-collar
Cufflinks: are miniature Poppies set in perspex (this was close to Remembrance Sunday)
Handkerchief: Gieves & Hawkes (vintage)

Pen: Waterman 'Orca' rollerball

That's about it, I think.

(Oh and the location: the Salt Beef bar in Selfridges, London).

  1. You are too kind, Nicholas..... oh, and: a,m I allowed to vote for my fabulous self?? I could do with a Monticristi panama (if you saw the state of the one that has accompanied me around the world for the past 6+ years, you will see how sad and well-worn it has become)..... not forgetting the shirt and pocket square etc etc etc........
