How To Wear A Midnight Blue Tuxedo - Nice Work Jeremy.

There is only one problem with this look - he chose a slim batwing, which for the size of this shawl  collar, looks too slim and too hard edged against the softer curves of the shawl. And the bow looks to not be matching as a silk with the lapel. Otherwise, killer look.

  1. Very nicely done. What fabrics and facings were used?

  2. I would not know. This is not my work. However, if I was to take a guess I would say it was a luxury heavy weight silk satin in midnight blue with a 112 yarn count or higher. There is a very reflective sheen on the silk. Could even be mogador. For the might blue wool I would suggest that the closes I have seen is a wool, cashmere, silver mink mix in a plain weave in the Black Tie Elite book from Holland And Sherry. I don't have the code number unfortunately.
