I was very sad to see Angelo Flaccavento (below) has dropped his idiosyncratic bow tie in favour for a 6cm skinny tie. It sunk me into a short bout of depression.... He was one of my muses, the original bon vivant that was being snapped wearing a bow tie in Paris, part of the re-birth of the 'noeud papillon' ; I would venture to say he was instrumental in the come back. So to be now in a tie? I don't know what to make of it. Angelo, this is for you " : - ( ".
