My first run in I can recall with Go to Hell pants would be J Crew's early 2000's collection of slacks in chambray and seersucker embroidered with all things nautical, from lobsters to whales. I though they were, well, different. And that's the point, really. The idea of Go to Hell pants and jackets is the loudness of pattern and the unorthodox style, visually saying "I wear what I want... go to hell!" I honestly didn't know until recently that they had a name, or one so colorful. Lately Ralph Lauren and Vineyard Vines, among other 'preppy' brands, have been reinterpreting the Go to Hell pant with well tailored and modernized cuts. Are you bold enough?
