We have decided not to progress with our account with David Jones for the time being. It has been a difficult, timely and costly foray into the world of department stores - through no fault of David Jones. Whilst David Jones was extremely supportive of our brand in the beginning, there were a lot of sunk costs putting in a small range of bow ties into David Jones. Furthermore, our limited edition silks are extremely expensive to make and to ship - and this has also put some strain on the relationship as we are unable to work to the formulas required to make our product viable for David Jones to keep it on the selling floor.
So, onwards and upwards - we are still available online and through our independent stores. To our US customers, a fresh batch of stock has just reached Tie Deals in San Diego.
