Jamie Millar of GQ has pieced together a photo journal on Prince Charles regarding his choice of clothes. It makes for good viewing and I have referenced one of the images below.
Regarding the bone coloured double breasted suit that I saw below, I recalled a conversation with a client last week who asked me to fabric match the Daniel Craig suit below and to order him some Carlo Riva light blue cloth to create a European summer jaunt ensemble. We found the cloth from John Hardy and of course I had the Carlo Riva in stock.
Both Prince Charles and Daniel Craig are showing something below that I have long admired, the light blue cotton shirt with the cream or bone coloured suit. The ensemble is very chic but comes from very different angles for both men. What is obvious though, is that the combination works time and time again. Any of you considering heading off for a European summer vacation might consider packing something like this into your suit bag.
Prince Charles - very rarely seen in anything but the best and with the perfect amount of cuff showing. |
Daniel Craig in Layer Cake. Not my style of jacket but look how electric the combination of cream and light blue is. |
