Swept Away - 1974 - The Raw Animal Spirit And Sexuality

I cherish this film, if not only for the wonderful images of both his and her expressive green eyes. There is no other film for me that better shows the animal relationship between a man and a woman - that raw energy that defines each sex. This film resonates with my more primal spirit and I love the stark contrast between the earthliness of Gennarino Carunchio and the refined northern Italian husband of Rafaella Lanzetti, who seems to be onto the affair as soon as they re-board the ship home. I hope to come back to this film again and again. Buy it here: http://www.amazon.com/Swept-Away-Giancarlo-Giannini/dp/1572521767
