When an old friend gets married it requires you to go the extra distance - so the Marriage silk - which is a male and female skeleton with a heart between them - which is a metaphor for 'till death do us part' - was turned into a smoking jacket with a satin lapel so I might draw the attention of the crowd for my role as MC and perhaps attract some new customers along the way.
