I am tired of wearing jeans. I love jeans. Who doesn't love jeans? They are fantastic. Dress them up, dress them down. Wear them as much as you like, and watch them gain character as you do. However, there came a time recently when I looked at my bottom row of my clothes racks and it was just too dominated by jeans and very few pairs of pants / trousers. Furthermore, I found that there were very few companies which made trousers which catered for braces, which didn't have belt loops, which didn't have pleats.
I picked these ones up a week or two ago, I do apologise for the photos, but I have no idea how you are supposed to photograph trousers, it is hard enough to do a jacket. And two of the pairs could use a press too. I used Holland And Sherry for all three pairs. One is a lilac wool, the other is a mauvey cotton and the third are Black Tie Elite Kid Mohair which form the lower half to a suit which I will post later. Am I happy? I am thrilled. They have no pleats, they have side tabs and a small slit in the cuff which I noted on Hugo Jacomet's trousers when I read his post on Cifonelli on the blog The Dandy Portraits.
