Aristotle Onassis

I love this photo. There was something very raw and brutal about Onassis. I remember reading his biography by Peter Evans, and then the Nemesis book too, and I kept thinking to myself that he was just a very rich, sophisticated version of Zorba The Greek. And I remember Kazantzakis writing about Zorba that 'it was as though he had not been severed from Mother Earth'. Onassis seems to have been of the same ilk. I wish I had been around to meet him - I am sure he had plenty of good conversation on him.
