Gaudi's Family was inspired by the stained glass windows which appear in Gaudi's Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. The stained glass windows, which seem so advanced in design for their time, depict families of three over what seems to be three generations which then leads to the 3 circles which is symbolism for the Holy Trinity.
