Night By Akro - The Smell Of Sex In Your Parcels And Why We Spritz Your Packages At Le Noeud Papillon

For those of you who indulged in the sale your parcels were spritzed with a new scent I acquired from Libertine Parfums @libertineparfumerie which stocks this brand Akro. The scent was described to me as having the smell of sex which made me highly curious because I don’t seem to get enough although my doctor did once say to me that he’s never ever had a patient that told him he had too much money or too much sex. Such is life.

I will tell you that the sweet musky smell of it had that agricultural aspect to sex about it - something animalic, something unique and prompting. The same way the faint smell of a distant bushfire in Australia fills you with a sense of danger ⚠️, is the same way this eau de Parfum excites you - the prospect of sex, or its imminence.

It’s not a fragrance I would use every day mostly because I’m not a love rat 🐀 - but it’s one I’m glad has come into my possession to be used with caution - because - as they say - you don’t want to give off the wrong scent … I hope that when you open your parcels you will have the same reaction I had. Night by Akro .

On another note, last night we received a credit from Channel 9 as Karl Stefanovic stepped out in our Porter bow tie, a collaborative (I hate that word) effort between myself and Porter Dowd of P Johnson tailors that after we nutted out the shape I named it in his honour. We often do that. There are patterns here with the names of those that we have worked with, Rizk, Remy, Juan and more.

And then I would like to say that it was just such a lovely thing to hear from Parker, he is wearing the bow tie which was inspired by a lunch he took me to at the Meiji Palace in Tokyo and he sent a photo as he was off to have lunch there wearing his new bow tie that made it to Tokyo in good time.

I enjoyed seeing Karl wearing our Porter shape bow tie but really, as I have often said before, no amount of celebrity has ever triggered a swathe of sales or interest in our products, instead it is people like Parker, people like yourself, that have gotten us the reputation we sought.

So if ever you feel like sharing your personal style, we are all ears and eyes - +61413140994 . And really, if we are the best in the world, if that is truly true, don't you think it's nice that you can stay in contact with me directly whenever you feel like it? I don't think Yves or Karl or Gianni ever offered that.

Keep warm. Speak soon.
