According to one guide I read on La Primavera in the Uffizi, Sandro Boticelli made studies of more than 160 plants in order to come up with the flowers that adorn the fabrics and rest in the foreground and background of La Primavera, one of my favourite paintings if not my most favourite painting of all time. After visiting the Uffizi in January I decided to embark on a very laborious design that I ended up using the help of a number of designers and technical wearing specialists to finish for my own fabric inspired by Boticelli. We will be working on this fabric once the mills go back to work on May 5th. I hope that it will be delivered by July this year. It is a very special fabric and one I hope to turn into a variety of different products you will find on our website www.lenoeudpapillon.com
