You may recall that last year I had shoes made by Ivan Crivellaro (
see FB Page) after I saw his work on the GQ Italia writer Angelo Flaccavento's wall. Ivan went on to create a pair of the most fabulous shoes which were painted with little papillons and a Dali face with a handle-bar moustache on the sole. I adore them. To this day people often stop me in the street to pay them, not me, a compliment. Today Crivellaro released photos of his latest work for Luca Rubinacci and Andrea Luparelli. The work, posted below, is so unique, that you could consider it on the interface of art and artisan and the photos that I posted of my shoes have become somewhat internet sensations for those that post and repost content on shoes. Without further ado:
