Greetings from Leura in the Blue Mountains. As you know, we get a hot Christmas every year down here - so mid-winter (our July) they put on the yuletide in the Blue Mountains and people get to have a taste of the Northern Hemisphere. It was a lot of fun. I found an amazing group of shops. One in particular stood out - it was 'The French Shoppe' (+612 4784 2383) Shop 6 /166 The Mall - which sells anything to do with the French - which included a small but amazing set of umbrellas for women. They were so good that I wanted one for myself. I'm told they do a mens range so I will do some investigation. To think it was only 1.5 hours away from Sydney and I had not made the effort in fifteen years to go.
