Here on Smitten, we're a little obsessed with Iceland. (My dad went a couple years ago and still can't stop talking about the lava fields and lobster soup.) But, apparently, in Reykjavik, girls wear bow ties, and Refinery 29 says that Parisian and New York ladies are starting to follow the trend, too...
Hmmm. What do you think, my dears? Are bow ties sweet and romantic, or should we leave the neckwear to the boys? Would you wear one on a date?
And speaking of, do you like guys in bow ties? Are they cute or costume-y (as Michael Kors would say). My friend's mom always says, "Never trust a man in a bow tie." Do you agree?
