4. Amazingly, the bow tie also popped up often enough to be regarded as a bona fide trend, albeit, in its teething stage. The uber-hip D&G showed it in a naff combo of tartan tailored jacket and Buddy Holly spectacles which hyped its inherent nerd factor. Tomas Maier for Bottega Veneta showed the bow tie's suave side in one of the slickest, leanest tuxedos ever tailored, and Burberry (pictured) incorporated it in a playful mix of lean dirt-brown suit and tonal, untucked shirt, with incongruous knit beanie and gloves.
