LE NOEUD PAPILLON SYDNEY

April 14, 2010

I don’t forget you boys! For you, I hunted out a nice style: the noeud papillon. Nowadays, the bow tie is very trendy and is no more for bourgeois and aristo kitch men only. It doesn’t have anymore an old school image.

Since few seasons, the noeud is coming back on many catwalks like Valentino, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Paul Smith, Costume National, etc. It’s especially thanks to Alexis Mabille, Kanye West and Albert Elbaz that the noeud Papillon is back on the fashion planet!

It’s time to have a look at your Grandpa’s closet… Or to visit the Website of the specialist in Sydney: www.lenoeudpapillon.com.

At Le Noeud Papillon, all the collection of bow ties is designed and hand-made in Sydney, Australia. Either you are formal or more fashion, you’ll find yours! You can even learn how to tie your noeud papillon with the instructions and the video.

Hey girls, it’s also very trendy to wear a noeud papillon as a necklace, a headband or like guys on a shirt ;-)

What is James Wearing?

A friend passed on this wonderful blog - www.whatisjameswearing.com - it's worth a perusal.

Paul Bertelle's Big Day At David Jones Autumn Racing Randwick

One can't be sure, but it seems that something was making Paul Bertelle (below) a bit more amiable at the Races on Saturday. Could it be his bow tie? One of the first to sport an LNP 'Michelle', LNP would like to thank his girlfriend Bridgitte for suggesting he wear a bow.

Sydney, a Gatsby Party

Cloak Room Takes On New LNP Range

The Cloak Room, with stores in both Brisbane and Sydney, is an urban bespoke outfitter. The boys, Josh and Andrew, do not consider themselves classic tailors, instead they offer the urban customer the chance to experience bespoke and made to measure garments in a more adventurous city living manner. In Sydney, Josh has made a stong and bold statement about his business by his choice of lighting, fixtures and fittings and store location (Reservoir Street, Surry Hills) as well as stock displayed and the looks that he presents to customers. Why? Because he doesnt wish to appear like a Cutler or a Henry Bucks but wishes to offer similar services. There was nowhere for non-CBD workers to go to get fitted up yet it is precisely these people that have the style and the time to create their own look using an urban tailor.

LNP Makes Changes

Dear Customers,

We have been listening to you. As a result we have released bows which can be tied once but can still be worn without having to tie them again. The second hook allows the wearer to unfasten the bow without losing that all-time knot you worked so hard to perfect.

For more information, log onto www.lenoeudpapillon.com

Best wishes,
N.
